My name is Lyudmila Parkhomenko. I am from Kiev, Ukraine. As many of my fellow countrymen, I fled Ukraine saving my life and the life of my daughter. My son and my husband stay in Ukraine to defend my Motherland.
I was a teacher of English at one of the national schools of Ukraine. I write this letter in English because my French is not yet proficient but I actively follow all the French courses offered to me. I will take and pass their exam
I am a creative and attentive, communicative and open-minded person. My colleagues, students and their parents have always respected me. My lessons are usually active, effective and fun. I try to combine language studying with games, songs and videos. All my lessons have a positive and friendly atmosphere. I draw students’ attention to phonology, learning new words and grammar structures. I usually use smart boards and online tasks (Kahoot, Quizlet, Liveworksheets, Wordwall) to make my lessons exciting, and to increase the level of motivation and interest of my students.
