Job duties

· Oversee the transportation of construction materials (cement, sand, gravel, rebar, etc.) to the NPP construction site.

· Plan and monitor supply chain operations & customs clearance according to standard solution.

· Optimize freight cost.

· Define and implement improvements towards freight cost reduction.

· Fully control / master Customs and Tax aspects to ensure smooth incoming flow from abroad.

· Maintain a strong relationship with Procurement team to ensure accuracy of Forecast.

· Recommend for optimal schemes of transportation and customs clearance depending on the delivery terms and suitable price.

· Interact with suppliers, retailers, customers etc. to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction.

· Communicate with supplier logistics including all step of supply chain (sub vendors).

· Ensure premises, assets and communication ways are used effectively

· Provide site logistic related reports.

· Identify and eliminate root causes of problems / deviations from standard using methods as per company standards.

· Define and implement improvements towards inventory level reduction.

· Ensure cross functional awareness of materials and equipment availability.

· Prepare accurate reports for upper management.

Requirements

· Hungarian-native, English-upper- intermediate, Russian - intermediate

· Not less than 3 years of experience in logistics (preferably in Hungary and EU).

· Higher education.

· PC, knowledge of office programs Excel, Word.

· Knowledge of the basics of workflow.

· Knowledge of Hungarian transport legislation, legislation in the field of international transport.

· Knowledge of the fundamentals of transport (auto, rail, sea, air).

· Knowledge of the basics of inventory accounting and inventory control systems.
